It was autumn in the year 1923 that Louis Lafont started a small boutique selling hearing products and eyeglasses, and for three generations, his Art Deco spirit has been the standard when it comes to designing eyewear. Louis's grandson Philipe, along with his wife, also a Parisian fashion designer have transformed eyeglasses into a genuine fashion accessory.

Lafont has been making superb Parisian optical eyewear for over 90 years. Lafont eyewear collections are all feature a subtle, rebellious, discreetly avant-garde refinement. They offer over 200 different color combinations along with a varied selection of mix-and-match materials which are made of tartan or Liberty print fabrics in between two sheets of acetate, panther designs, horn and tortoise shell. Each frame is a heritage deeply rooted in French culture and tastes which can be seen through the works of art created in the workshops of Jura.
